At news.station.ug we aggregate news content from online channels in Uganda. We do this to provide media users with a dashboard which tries to make sense of the media buzz. This data is captured as mentions of persons, organisations and places. At the end of the month the total cumulative number of mentions is analysed to find out which received the most mentions in context.
This information is ideal for media managers to rely upon when drawing strategy for communication and in the evaluation of government and corporate image as reported in media.
